This week I heard that the sakura in Balboa Park had started to bloom. Around the same time, a guy asked me if I wanted to meet over the weekend. I also didn’t want to waste the spring here, so I suggested that we hang out there. San Diego is famous for tourism, and Balboa Park is one of its most popular places to visit. Because of that, we spent almost half an hour just trying to pay for parking, waiting in a long line in front of an outdated payment machine. The night before we met, I suddenly remembered another time I went to see sakura — two years ago in Shanghai with Jingrao and Yunxin. That day we spent almost the entire day between Shanghai University and Tongji University. Now, coming back to the present, two years have passed. Sometimes I wonder if I could relive the same moment again.
